The Center for Molecular Neurobiology Hamburg (ZMNH) is a research institute of the Medical School of the University of Hamburg. Established in 1988, it is now widely recognized as one of Germany's premier research departments in neurobiology. It is an exciting research environment for several independent junior groups, and provides excellent technical facilities. Its main research interests are developmental neurobiology, signal transduction, cell-cell interactions, ion channels, transgenic mouse models, and genetics of human diseases.
