Jacobs-Universität Bremen

The Jacobs Center on Lifelong Learning and Institutional Development (JCLL) was founded in October 2003 and is part of Jacobs University Bremen.
JCLL is also a member of the Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences (BIGSSS), a graduate school included in the last of the funding rounds sponsored by the Federal Excellence Initiative.
Research
The JCLL focuses its research on the analysis of productive adult development and aging. By investigating human and organizational development in the work context, the JCLL aims to understand how individual (body and mind) and institutional conditions interact to produce outcomes on the individual as well as the organizational level.
Teaching
The Jacobs Center on Lifelong Learning and Institutional Development seeks to produce both quality research and highly qualified graduates.
